Sharing God's Love With Family And Community

Welcome To Bethany

Reformed Church Logo

Bethany is a congregation of individuals who share one thing, an overwhelming love for Christ. Please take a few minutes to investigate how our commitment to Him is carried out through our many ministries and activities. Join us as we rejoice in the gift of the Holy Spirit celebrating the love of Christ by sharing it with our neighbors. Why not join us in worship this Sunday?

If you haven't yet visited Bethany in person, we invite you to join us for worship Sundays at 10:00 a.m. for our traditional service or at 11:30 a.m. for our Bridge At Bethany contemporary service in the Chapel. We are located at 1833 South Burdick Street, just south of the central city. For more information on where we are and where to park, click here.

Celebrate!
Celebrate with us as we discover the power of the Holy Spirit and the revealing of God's plan of salvation for all who believe in Him. "God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die." (John 3:16 CEV)

Please join us each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for our traditional worship service, or for our 11:30 a.m. contemporary Bridge At Bethany service.

When you visit Bethany, stop by the Visitor's Table located outside of the office on the upper floor of the north wing. In addition to answering all of your questions, we have a coffee mug and pen to remind you of your visit.

The Bridge
The Bridge At Bethany is an alternative service of praise and contemporary music. Worship leader Tim Meisling invites you to join this worship service each Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. for a time of Bible study and discussion in the Chapel.

Friendship House Ministries
Dr. H. Sidney Heersma dedicates Friendship House gift.Bethany's Friendship House Ministries has been renamed in honor of Dr. H. Sidney Heersma's 100th birthday. Dr. Heersma, one of the founders of the ministry, has long supported the work of the Restore Ministry and the Christian Resource Center, both located in the Friendship House. As part of the celebration, a new sign was dedicated to the continuing work of the "Heersma-Schrock Friendship House". The new name honors both Dr. Heersma, who passed away in October, and his daughter who passed away last January.

Sharing Our New Vision
As a part of our church self-study and decision making process, the people of Bethany spent a time of prayer and study to discern God's purpose for our ministry. See the new vision statement by clicking here. Please continue to remain in prayer for the process and the answers we seek.

Download Pastor Bob's Messages
A new feature is the ability to download Sunday's sermon in MP3 format. Check the bottom of the Pastor's Word page for the links.

Weather Cancellations
When weather conditions are severe enough to cause cancellation of a scheduled service or activity notification will be made through this website as well as on WWMT channel 3. A decision to cancel a morning worship service will be made by 8:30 a.m.
