Preparing the site for the playground. The old equipment had to be removed and the ground leveled.

David is moving dirt up to the playground to level the area. Ecumene is built on the side of mountain--it seems that everything must be moved up or down!

Carol K helps to make beds in a student cabin.

Carol helps clean a cabin that was used by Campo Cadete, a camp for children. All of the workers at Ecumene are volunteers.

Erica and Emily help in cleaning after Campo Cadete has gone home.

Lisa helps to clean the cabins, too. Scrubbing shower stalls is not what she plans to do as a career!
